Hugh Jackman together with his Bond co-star Daniel Craig opened their new play "A Steady Rain" on Broadway, Hugh was doing his thing when suddenly some idiot's phone started ringing and the guy wouldn't answer it or turn it off.
So Hugh got kinda pissed and stopped the entire scene to have a little Christian Bale moment with the guy, only the best part was, he still stayed in character when he told the guy off.
Check it out, it hella hella funny!
But honestly I thought that was really really unprofessional coming from a Broadway actor I admire like Hugh Jackman. Sure the dude is being a dick but you gotta at least know that things aren't always gonna go smoothly when you put on a show. Though I also felt like punching the people in the audience when their phones start ringing when I did Kaki Blue hahahahaha.
Dude, you're interrupting Wolverine and James Bond on the same stage man. You want to die izzit?
Surrogates: Review
Hi. Having online friends and cyber dating is just sad. That's all.
So I got to go for the early screening of the show and didn't really know much about it, and to be honest i knida liked the movie. Okay so Surrogates is about a future world where people never leave their house but control these robots called Surrogates to interact and live their daily lives. Anyone can be anything they want and do whatever without any real implications cause their in actual fact just sitting at home controlling robots. It's kinda like RPG and chat rooms but in real life
The film has a lot of bold elements that take a stab at how we rely so much on technology like the Internet and stuff that we beging to lose what really makes us human. Surrogates give a whole lot of philosophical point-of-views that'll keep you pondering and but sometimes it does feel a little preachy.

Bruce Willis plays a cop who is forced to leave his home without using his Surrogate for the first time in many years in order to investigate a human related Surrogate murder. Willis makes the film watcheble, his role is one of the better ones he's had in a long time, though it's sad he didn't have much of a good script to play off. Radha Mitchell is awesome as ever playing his partner and damn.. Rosamund Pike looked realy good in here. (Surrogate Rosamund Pike not the real one, real Rosamund Pike was super ugly)
What I didn't like about the show were the actions scenes that were crowbarred into the movie for the sake of making the film slightly more entertaining, I get why they had to do that but I would have prefered if they just stuck to developing the thought provoking themes, which kinda had to take a back seat halfway through the movie to make way for the explosions.
Surrogates was a good show, I liked it a lot but it's the kind of movie that you watch, like and just forget about. It doesn't really have anything that will make you want to go back and see again. But for good entertainment, yeah give it a go, but don't pay more than RM7 for it, it isn't that worth it.One part in the movie that really made me laugh was when Bruce Willis is having an argument with his wife aka. Surrogate controlled by his wife and she just went like "OK. This conversation is over" and just switches off. Hahahahahah. The perfect way of getting out of any argument!!

Details From The New Toy Story 3 Trailer!
Aight! Some dude from SlashFilm has seen the new Toy Story 3 trailer and has given an overall summary of it, thus revealing the new plot of the 3rd installment of the Toy Story franchise. If you don't wanna spoil it and wait for the trailer, don't read on but you're gonna have to wait for another 3 months to see it heh heh.
Hahahah! Can't wait!!
[The new trailer shows] Woody and the gang at Sunnyside Daycare. Where life among the toddlers looks like something out of “Lord of the Flies.” … Buzz and Co. get absolutely brutalized by these 3-year-olds. Which is why they decide that “We’re busting out of here.” The only problem is – during their initial escape attempt – the Space Ranger gets severely damaged. To the point that Woody & friends are forced to hit Lightyear’s reset button. Which then puts Buzz into Spanish-speaking mode. … When Buzz is in Spanish-speaking mode – he then becomes this hot-blooded, flamenco-dancing romantic figure prone to grand gestures. Which Jessie is kinda attracted to.
Hahahah! Can't wait!!

Mamma Mia 2? You Gotta Be Kidding Me!
David Linde, the co-chairman of Universal Studios has come out saying that it is very possible for a sequel to last year's musical Mamma Mia since the film was such a gigantic success. Hell, the DVD sales for the movie beat out DVD sales for Titanic!
One of the film's stars, Colin Firth has come out saying that the sequel is already in early stages of development but ABBA music will no longer be apart of the franchise. (HOLY SHIT! You have no idea how pissed I am right now)
Okay this is just wrong! I liked Mamma Mia! but making a sequel out of it is just an insult to the Broadway show from which it's origin is from. And what's a Mamma Mia! sequel without ABBA music? It's gonna be like calling a movie High School Musical 2 when it doesn't take place in a high school.
Some of the early rumors are saying that they are going to use someone from the 70's or 80's for the music. MTV is speculating either the Bee Gees or Michael Jackson.
Actually it won't be a bad idea making a musical out of Michael Jackson's music. But why the hell can't they make an original one out of it instead of using the Mamma Mia! cast? Can you imagine Pierce Brosnan singing Billy Jean or Meryl Streep dancing the Thriller??!!
What do you guys think? Mamma Mia! 2, Good idea? Bad idea? It's definitely happening. So which music group do you think they should cover?

In an interview with Colin Firth, he said, "Benny Andersson [ABBA member and 'Mamma Mia!' composer] was public— quoting what I read in a newspaper—but he said it’s not going to happen with ABBA. We’re not using the back catalog. He, I think, has other ambitions, probably. The main thing is they’ve used the songs you would need for that musical and using the rest of the catalog… I don’t know, you’d have to ask him. From what I’m understanding, the people who do want to make it, are considering the possibility of using another band's music."

X-Men: First Class
This show is soooo gonna suck.
SuperHeroHype.com reports that a new X-Men spin off may happen depending on the success of Magneto.
The premise of X-Men: First Class will be about the young Cyclops, Jean Grey, Beast and Storm attending Xavier's school with Tim Pocock taking the star billing of the show.
And now your wondering, "Who the fuck is Tim Pocock?" Well he's the dude that played Cyclops in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. WTH right?? No one knows who he is! And their gonna make him the star of the show? Ugh so stupid! No one's gonna want to see this movie.
Anyway production on the film is rumored to start in 2010. This show is gonna be absolute bullshit! I'm so bored of all these pathetic X-Men spin offs.

Obama Calls Kanye West A Jackass
Barack Obama was caught on audio calling Kanye West a jackass for interrupting Taylor Swift's acceptance speech during the MTV VMA's. The audio was recorded just before Obama went on camera to do an interview with CNBC.Check it out!
Wahahaha! I love how he get's so worried about being caught on record after saying that.

New Pictures and Official Trailer of Heath Ledger's Last Movie: The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus
So check it out, we got newly released pictures and the official trailer of The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, Oscar-winner Heath Ledger's final film.
The movie isn't going to be released in Malaysia anytime soon. Don't ask me why. I also dunno.
The film will also star Johnny Depp, Jude Law and Colin Farrel playing different transformations of Heath Ledger's character Tony as he travels through a dream world in the movie.
The early reviews of the show from the Toronto Film Festival has been quite positive. And the trailer looks pretty good to me. I predict Oscar nomination for Best Art Direction.
I see some Joker resemblance in here...
Lily Cole playing Doctor Parnassus' daughter
Yeap.. that's Mini Me. He's playing Heath Ledger's sidekick or something.
Colin Farrell as Tony
Jude Law as Tony
.......... and Johnny Depp as Tony

Indiana Jones 5. Yeap, you heard me.
Just when you thought George Lucas had enough of ressurecting his old classics for a quick buck, Harrison Ford has told People magazine that "the story for the new Indiana Jones is in the process of taking form. Steven Spielberg,George Lucas and myself are agreed on what the fifth adventure will concern, and George is actively at work."
Sigh.. I liked Kingdom of the Crystal Skull but goddamit.. can't they just leave the series as it is and move on with something else? And I just hope that they don't put Shia LaBeouf back in it. Can't stand him going "No No No No No No No No!" again. The 5th Indiana Jones movie is rumoured to be released in 2012.

A Christmas Carol Official Trailer
Yay! The first trailer for Disney's A Christmas Carol was just released on Youtube yesterday! Enjoy people!
All I can say is.... AWESOME!!! I gotta watch this in 3D! Who wants see it with me?? I bet it'll be much better 3D than The Final Destination *cough cough Samantha*A Christmas Carol will premiere here on 19 November 2009 and will star Jim Carrey as the Scrooge and the 3 ghosts of Christmas (Past, Present, and Yet-to-Come) and other people like Gary Oldman, Robin Wright Penn & Colin Firth.
The show is directed by Robert Zemeckis, the dude who did The Polar Express which I absolutely loved loved loved loved! But was kinda surprised cause I thought the show would premiere like in December or something... weirdness... it's like premiering a Chinese New Year movie a month before CNY.
Michael Jackson This Is It Trailer

Pirates of the Caribbean 4 Title and Release Date Revealed!
Disney has given info for the new Pirates of the Caribean movie at the D3 Expo with Johnny Depp announcing that he will reprise his role as Captain Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, slated to be released in May 2011.
The early premise of the movie as quoted by Jim Hill Media is that Capt Jack and Barbossa meet up in newly founded New Orleans, and set out together to find the Fountain of Youth.
And the best part is that Orlando Bloom isn't going to be in this one. Kinda sad that Keira Knightley doesn't want to return but I'll live with that!
So what do ya'll think of the title? Psyched?

Bruno: Review
Okay before I start.. I really really really liked Borat. But damn... Bruno was just wrong!
So okay, Bruno is the second love child by Sacha Baron Cohen after the hugely successful Borat: Cultural Learnings of America For Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan. It's about this gay Austrian fashionista who get's fired from his fashion talk show after a runway incident, so he decides to go to America and become a huge star there.
Bruno is around the same formula as Borat where we have this really outrageous character interviewing and doing crazy shit to poor unsuspecting normal folks. But damn Bruno is so much more uncomfortable to watch than Borat. It's like Sacha Baron Cohen wondered, "How on earth am I gonna top what I did in Borat....... I gotta get myself killed!"
And really, he tries so hard. Bruno is more of an endurance test than a comedy. We just watch it to see how far can he go doing all these crazy gay stuff before he finally gets the crap beaten out of.
I mean Bruno goes on a hunting trip with some of the most backward hillbillies possible and gets naked and sticks his ass in their faces. If that's not enough, this dude goes to Iraq and walks the streets with the most gayest outfits possible. He even goes as far as interviewing a leader of a terrorist organization and says the most insulting things (things you wouldn't even say to someone you don't like here) to him.
But I did get a few laughs out of the film though. There's this part where he's being interviewed in front of a lot of fat angry black women. And I swear those ladies were gonna tear him apart like in Jerry Springer or something.
But overall this movie was so freakin crude and offensive that I just couldn't enjoy myself. I don't recommend most Malaysians to see it since we're still mostly conservative. But if you do wanna see the show, see it with a large group of people just so that you can watch their reactions. But be warned! There's gay anal sex, close ups of pubic hair.. and my personal favourite, a major close up of Bruno's 2 ft long dick just waging for about 10 seconds. And after that.. I swear I'm not lying.. his dick looks directly at the camera and says "Bruno!!!"
And I was like, "Shit his dick can talk!" Then I start slapping my own and going "C'mon! Talk! Why can't you talk!!"
RATING: 5/10 (Not as good as Borat)
